PROMECH started as a joint venture between Petrofac and Zamil Group Holding Company since 2010 until the end of 2015. Primarily focusing on the repair of pressure control and wellhead equipment in addition to manufacturing of API accessories.Scotvalve Services, a division in Petrofac had direct connection with PROMECH during the JV period.
Following the strategy of Saudi ARAMCO and considering the changes occurring in the Kingdom Zamil Group decided to invest and upgrade the workshop to become one of the local manufacturers. Hence Zamil Group had to buy back the share of Petrofac owning 100% of PROMECH to carry on with the investment plan.
